2. Sleep is Safe & Good Business

At least 25% of the patients in your practice suffering are from sleep apnea! Sleep is an aerosol-free service that will help increase revenue.

  • The AADSM recently announced that oral appliance therapy should be used as a first-line therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Sleep requires less chair time than other dental services – you can see more patients in an already condensed schedule
  • Increase production with highly profitable sleep appliances – the MATRx plus test will tell you who are oral appliance therapy responders

3. MATRx portal Release - July 12

The new patient information portal is both intuitive and user-friendly. Doctors and team members will be able to easily set-up and manage studies and analyze patient data in MATRxportal.com.

To ensure a successful data migration, please don’t schedule any sleep or sleep theragnostic studies between July 11-12.

4. New Combined Study Functionality

Dentists and their team can dispense a new type of at-home sleep test. The Combined Study allows Dentists to provide a sleep study (diagnostic) and a sleep theragnostic study (auto-titration) at the same time! This 3 to 4-night study will determine:

  • Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) response
  • Optimum mandibular position for effective OAT
  • The necessary data to assist in sleep apnea diagnosis

Dentists will be able to treat patients, more efficiently with this new feature.
